Voice of Joy Ministries holds a Monthly Manna meeting as well as offering individual Wordtherapy sessions. Voice of Joy also provides outreach and help to needy individuals and families through the Fun To Be One Club ministry.   Voice of Joy sponsors one women’s retreat annually, usually in mid-September. The themes of those retreats are then available to Churches and Groups who want to sponsor them and have a Voice of Joy speaker or team come in to minister. More information about the retreats and about scheduling can be obtained by sending us an email.   The 2010 retreat on September 27 will be “Butterflies are Free” and will concentrate on our freedoms in Christ Jesus.   Past  Retreats available to be shared  are:   I - Kingdom Tales A time apart designed to appeal to “the little girl in all of us.” Familiar bedtime stories and fairy tales are shown to contain scripture truths. This retreat has been the most fun and at the same time has had a very emotionally healing effect on those present.  Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, The Miller’s Daughter, Hansel and Gretel, and Little Red Riding Hood tell us more about God and ourselves than we ever dreamed! This is a wonderful retreat to invite non-believers to attend while at the same time it is very refreshing to mature Christian women.   II - Living Parables This retreat looks at Science Fiction, Science Fact and Biography to discover truths that God imparts about Spiritual Warfare and the coming of the Kingdom on Earth as it is in Heaven. This retreat may also appeal to some non-believers as well as to serious Christians.   III - Aloha The Aloha Retreat is based on the scripture in Hosea 2:16, 19 and 20.  It is a marriage/oneness theme.   “Aloha” is a Hawaiian word that is used at many different times in many different ways.  It conveys the meaning of Breath/Spirit/Life being shared, and the root words also convey Joy and Love, and something that is happening in the present. Put together, the best definition of Aloha is “Share in the Joyful Love of Life Now.” We believe God’s Spirit, His Holy Breath, will cause you to share in His Joyful Living Love. During this retreat, each participant is given time to share with others and to be alone with Him in a meaningful way.   IV - "Become as Little Children"   This retreat explores the Christian messages in children's books like 'Heidi' and 'Pollyanna' and encourages participants to trust their Heavenly Father in a deeper way.                         WORKSHOPS Voice of Joy workshops are for both men and women.
